(Effective January 1, 2009)
 

Accessible Solutions offers Plan Review and Inspection services on behalf of the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.  Plan review and inspection fees collected by Accessible Solutions shall be determined by the estimated project cost, not including site acquisition, furnishings, or equipment, and are assessed according to the fee schedule.  For projects where public accommodations comprise only a portion of the work, only that portion of the project should be used for determining construction value.  
 

A complete submittal for a Plan Review includes all of the following

• One complete set of plans, signed, sealed and dated, for all disciplines (The "signed, sealed and dated" requirements apply only to submittals by registered design professionals as defined by state law saying plans must be submitted for review “not later than the fifth day after plans are issued for the purposes of construction”) accompanied with the Proof of Project Submission Form. Call our office to obtain this form or you can go to http://www.license.state.tx.us/ab/abforms.htm  and look for Form 042AB, Proof of Submission.

• A fully completed Project Registration Form or Confirmation Page containing the EAB#

• Payment in full for the services requested including the TDLR Filing Fee (Services will not be performed without payment. All fees may be included in one check made payable to Accessible Solutions)

If any variances have been requested of TDLR prior to submittal of documents, a copy of the Variance Application Form and, if received, TDLR’s response should also accompany the initial submittal.

All applicable fees need to be paid prior to any services being performed as required by Chapter 68.80(a), Architectural Barriers Rules

The Late Project Filing Fee is only for those projects registered after completion of construction and is in lieu of (not in addition to) payment of the Project Filing Fee.  All Filing Fees are established by TDLR are non-refundable.

 

Fees for Preliminary Reviews, Revised Plan Reviews & Preliminary Inspections will be based on a percentage of the construction cost

 

* Registering projects with estimated construction cost less than $50,000 is optional but accessibility considerations are still required.
